A warrior for the Kingdom of Netzavare under king Huenkel.
When Huenkel returned to the land to throw off the corrupt aristocracy that had taken hold, the first warriors to his banner were those who had also been downtrodden by the current regime. Famers, hunters, and woodsmen put off their land or otherwise forced into near banditry. Though not as formally trained as many other military units, the hardiness of each individual soldier and their intimate knowledge of the land makes them invaluable. Wearing light to medium armor and weilding spears nearly to a man, they make formidible screening and skirmishing forces, and are often fighting well after the battles are done as pursuit groups. With victory now their king's, many have improved their armor with beastly motiffs as a symbol of their loyalty. Many more have been rewarded with weapons from the king's armory, like this warrior with a spear of magically hardened Fireglass.
